We look forward to your participation and appreciate your efforts in capturing beautiful moments through your lens. Please read the following rules carefully to ensure your submissions meet the requirements.


1. Timeline

  • Contest Duration: April 1 - June30, 2025
  • Submission Deadline: June 30, 2025, 23:59 (Eastern Standard Time).

2. Eligibility

  • The contest is open to all Asian restaurants and photography enthusiasts in Massachusetts.
  • Participants must have a Google Account to log in and upload their submissions.

3. Categories and Requirements

Submissions are divided into the following three categories. Please ensure your entries meet the requirements for each category:

1. Food & Drinks

  • Number of Entries: Each participant may submit up to 5 photos.
  • Requirements: Photos should clearly showcase the color, aroma, and presentation of the food, with a well-defined theme.

2. Dining Environment

  • Number of Entries: Each participant may submit up to 5 photos.
  • Requirements: Photos should capture the ambiance of restaurants, kitchens, or other food-related environments, highlighting the atmosphere and setting.

3. Menu Design

  • Number of Entries: Each participant may submit 1 PDF document.
  • Requirements: The PDF document should include a complete menu design, featuring appetizing names, images, presentation, etc. The design must be original and creative.

4. File Naming Convention

All uploaded files must follow the naming format below:

  • Food Photography: Your Name_【Number】_Original File Name
    Example: ZhangSan_【1】_BraisedPork.jpg
  • Dining Environment Photography: Your Name_【Number】_Original File Name
    Example: LiSi_【2】_RestaurantAmbiance.jpg
  • Menu Design: Your Name_MenuDesign_Original File Name
    Example: WangWu_MenuDesign_CreativeSushi.pdf

5. Submission Steps

  1. Log in to your Google Account.
  2. Click the upload link for the corresponding category.
  3. Upload your files according to the naming convention.
  4. After confirming your submission, you will receive a confirmation email.
  5. You can edit your response on the confirmation page by clicking the "Edit your response" button. You can also click "Edit response" button in the email receipt for the submission.

6. Judging Criteria

  • Creativity: Whether the work demonstrates a unique perspective and creativity.
  • Technical Skill: The composition, lighting, and color techniques used in the photo.
  • Relevance to Theme: Whether the work fully reflects the contest theme.
  • Overall Impact: Whether the work has visual impact and artistic appeal.

7. Awards

  • Food Photography Awards: First, Second, and Third Place (1 winner each).
  • Dining Environment Photography Awards: First, Second, and Third Place (1 winner each).
  • Menu Design Award: Best Creativity Award (1 winner).
  • Special Awards: Judges’ Choice Awards (multiple winners).

(Specific prizes and rewards will be announced in a later notice.)


8. Important Notes

  1. All submissions must be original works. Plagiarism or use of others’ work is strictly prohibited.
  2. Participants must ensure their submissions do not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyrights or portrait rights.
  3. The organizers reserve the right to use submissions for non-commercial purposes such as promotion and exhibitions, and may edit the works as needed.
  4. If any violations are found, the organizers reserve the right to disqualify the participant.
